Compact (20–45 PTO HP)
FM-62H adds hydraulic side shift for fence lines and orchards. Skip the H if you only mow open fields — the FM-62 saves ~$600. H does not tilt; banks are VAM.
30–65 HP
Utility (30–65 PTO HP)
70″ coverage per pass for open pastures. Choose FM-78H when fence lines need hydraulic offset. H does not tilt — banks are the VAM line. NAM72 and NAM72H start at 45 PTO HP; do not treat Woodmaxx’s 30 HP FM-78 floor as a NAM72 floor.
50–90 HP
Large acreage (50–90 PTO HP)
The widest Woodmaxx flail at 85″ with hydraulic side shift. Needs Cat 2, ballast, and lift. KDK72H is the Cat 2 value foil; NAM72 is cheaper fixed-width and still Cat 1.
