Practical advice for tractor owners. Match width, published HP, hitch, and offset type — not brochure job names.
Series key
EFS — light grass, 0.8 lb hammers, ~0.75″ limit, 15–35 HP. EFS60’s 15 HP floor is 3.0 HP/ft.
NAM — utility hammer mass (up to 50.4 lb total). NAM72/72H start at 45 HP.
VAM — tender-grass banks only, 0.9 lb hammers, two remotes, 69/77/85″ offset.
KDK — Cat 2, 2.7 lb individuals, less total hammer mass than NAM72H, ~13″ extend.
Woodmaxx FM — the only Y-blade option in this catalog. Name ≠ cut. H models shift; they do not tilt.
Offset units are not interchangeable: side-shift travel vs ditch-bank reach.
